Initial Thoughts: I like 4 focus, and I like the versatility of having two effects on the same card. This is the last card in the set but not really the best one, a very solid add. Discipline as always is a great kicker and I can see the formation of a ring of void play from discard deck in the unicorn future. Just not sure it will be viable.

Pretty solid indeed...

Might not replace back to the front in every deck but discipline + our stronghold make us near immune to send home except from block supply line... as long as you play cavalry.

I'd at least try playing this before making a judgement.

Not straightening anything is a pretty big downside.

BUT, it works on bowed unit, and it's 4 focus, and you get 2 use (potentially).

I'd say verdict is still not out for this card.

Well, it's Ring of Water #2-4 I guess.

Would certainly be better with Absent but I think it's still worth playing, maybe as a 2x. Versatility is a huge plus on this one. Not straightening the unit isn't as bad for us as it might be for other Clans thanks to Karasu, Tsiang, and Shrine to Hachiman.

There is just zero reason to play this card. Its a terrible Fall Back, and an even worse version of the Stronghold.

If it could grab people at other battle fields, I'd like it. As is, i'd only run it in a Sleep or Dueling deck.

Having just got back to the game and not seen it -- what's the discipline keyword do?

If it's in the Discard pile you can use it by paying the invest cost and remove it from the game.

It can - the "at home" part is only may. And I honestly don't know why that part of the sentence is there. New Rule of Presence necessity?

I can see running this with Paikao or Dueling. The discipline effect also makes it cycle-able for Harvesters/Tengen/Void.
As for the effect, it really only has the "works on a bowed unit" thing going for it.

It may be a flexible eject, but so is Advanced Warning. I hear that card is good. As for move in, I'd still rather box or Back to the Front. Usually box is enough unless sendhome becomes a dangerously serious thing.

It won't grab from other battlefields. It would need to say any location not from home to get around the current location rules.

I'd play this is my dueling deck, it's 4 focus, and serves as my 9th card.

I don't, mainly because it doesn't straighten the target. See: Back to the Front.

In my dueling deck, i'd play this over RoW, same reason I play expensive achievements in my duelling deck even when the focus is 3 for that.

It serves as the 9th card in hand after I focus it away in a duel (from deck). Discipline cards are stronger than they are given credit for.

My point in asking about the Ring was that this card is a bad version of a Ring that almost no one plays.
